Taliaferro & Browne, Inc. is a comprehensive civil and structural engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture and master planning firm based in Kansas City, MO. Founded in 1968 with engineering roots dating back to the early 1940s, we have aimed to impact developmental change by providing private and public sector clients with innovative, cost-effective planning and design solutions. In the past five decades, we have been in the forefront of nearly every major redevelopment effort in Kansas City and have expanded to the St. Louis area. Our unique client-minded approach and extensive market knowledge allows us to join forces with clients to fully understand their vision and make it a reality. We are also a certified DBE and MBE company.

Meet Our Leaders

Leonard Graham

President

Leonard J. Graham is the current co-owner and President of Taliaferro & Browne, Inc. A registered professional engineer and more than 40 years of experience, Mr. Graham encompasses all aspects of the firm’s operations including project development and project management. His primary area of expertise is general civil engineering and project management including site development, storm water and wastewater engineering, roadway and transportation planning and design. Though Mr. Graham is in management, he is more so a working engineer with day to day involvement in projects overseeing the Firm' participation. Mr. Graham has helped lead the firm in engineering excellence to being one of the top 25 largest engineering firms in Kansas City. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Graham has been awarded the Engineering Honor Award from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He also received the Lucille H. Bluford Special Achievement Award from the Kansas City NAACP; an organization that T&B proudly sponsors every year.

Hagos Andebrhan

CEO

Hagos E. Andebrhan is the current co-owner and CEO of Taliaferro & Browne, Inc. His journey at Taliaferro & Browne, Inc. began as a draftsman working under his mentor and founder of Taliaferro & Browne, Will Taliaferro. Working his way up from a draftsman/errand person to purchasing the stock of T&B with long time friend Leonard Graham in 1992, Mr. Andebrhan continues to elevate the firm’s credibility and present growth while overseeing day to day operations, specifically focused on land surveying. His 40 year experience includes engineering planning, design, land surveying, quality assurance, project management, and construction administration. Mr. Andebrhan’s work ethic has earned him several awards including “One of the Hundred Most Influential African-Americans” by the Kansas City Globe Newspaper and a feature story in the European magazine “ELEM” for his life achievement.
